2. Send your productDry the product thoroughly, wrap it in protective packaging, and send it to us. Shipping to us is at your expense.
3. ResurfacingOnce it arrives, our craftsman checks its condition and resurfaces it. This typically takes 2–3 weeks from arrival.
4. ReturnAfter finishing and inspection, we send it back to you free of charge.
This service covers chopping boards, cutting boards, and coasters made and sold by KINARI.
If we determine that resurfacing cannot restore the piece, such as with deep cracks, severe warping, or mold that has penetrated the wood, we will contact you before starting work and offer to return it or cancel (with a full refund).
On engraved products, resurfacing may make the engraving fainter or remove it entirely.
Shipping to us is at your expense; KINARI covers return shipping.
We return items to the address on your order. Gift wrapping is not available.
Before use
Lightly wet both sides with water before use. Dampening the surface beforehand makes it harder for the color, odor, and oils of food to soak into the wood.
After wetting, wipe lightly with a cloth before use.
This keeps food from slipping, making it more comfortable to use.
After use
- Step 1.WashApply a suitable amount of dish soap, wash with a sponge along the grain, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Step 2.WipeWipe the entire MANAITA thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Step 3.DryingUsing a board stand or similar, stand it upright along the direction of the grain and let it dry completely.
Please do not use bleach or a dishwasher, as they can cause warping and cracking. Dry it out of direct sunlight.
Orders ship in as little as 1–2 business days and usually arrive 1–2 days after shipping. You can choose a date 3 or more days from today. Your selection is confirmed when you choose a date.
The gift bag is included folded flat with your item.
We can engrave logos, illustrations, names and other text, on their own or in combination.
*Logo and illustration engraving is not available for coasters.

Does each product vary?
This product is made from natural wood. Each piece therefore varies in grain and color, and may show small knots formed as the tree grew or slight variations in tone. None of these affect quality or hygiene.
We kindly ask that you purchase with an understanding of the characteristics of natural wood. As a rule, we are unable to accept exchanges for reasons inherent to natural materials, such as grain, color, or knots.
Are there care instructions for each product?
We provide everyday use and care instructions covering all our products.
